Intro<\/h2>\n

The FRITZ!Box sold by FASTfiber is \u00a0already configured<\/strong>. You just need to plug it in. Follow the steps below to connect to VDSL or Fiber.<\/p>\n

Connect to the socket – electricity<\/h3>\n

\u2192 Connect the power supply to the socket on your FRITZ!Box
\n\u2192 Plug the other end into a power outlet<\/p>\n

Connect the FRITZ!Box for use with a fiber connection<\/span><\/h2>\n

Connect the FRITZ!Box to the fiber ONT<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u2192 Plug the yellow-white network cable into the WAN port of your FRITZ!Box
\n\u2192 Plug the free end of the cable into the LAN port of your Fiber ONT on which the line is activated.
\n\u2192 In case of a transfer of an active fiber line from another operator, restart the ONT if the connection does not work after correctly connecting the Fritz!Box.<\/p>\n

By default the internet service is active on the LAN port 1-1 of the Fiber ONT, but if a fiber connection was already active on the ONT before, the internet service is active on the next port, 1-2 . You<\/span> will find the correct port number on the order confirmation. Some new fiber ONTs only have 1 LAN port, in this case connect your network cable to this LAN port.<\/p>\n

Connect the FRITZ!Box for use with a VDSL connection<\/span><\/h2>\n

Connect the FRITZ!Box to the telephone socket (NTP – TF2007) or splitter.<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u2192 Plug the gray DSL cable into the DSL port of the FRITZ!Box
\n\u2192 Plug the other end into the telephone socket (NTP\u00a0 TF2007) or the splitter.<\/p>\n

The splitter is only used if you still have an active fixed PSTN Proximus telephone subscription on this line and so as long as your fixed telephone number has not yet been transferred.<\/p>\n

Connect your PC or laptop to your FRITZ!Box<\/h2>\n

Use a wireless connection (Wi-Fi)<\/span><\/h3>\n

The WiFi (SSID) can be found in your WiFi setting on your PC as ‘FRITZ!Box 7530 XX’.<\/span>
\nThe network key (WiFi Key) can be found at the bottom of the modem under WLAN Network Key. The network key always consists of 20 digits without spaces or other characters. Please refer to the manual of your device (PC) to connect via WiFi.<\/p>\n

You can turn the modem’s Wi-Fi function on and off by simply pressing the WLAN button on top of the modem. <\/span>The WLAN LED on the front of the modem is green when the WiFi function is enabled.<\/p>\n

Use a LAN cable<\/span><\/h3>\n
